Bryan Crough, the director of Traverse City’s Downtown Development Authority, has passed away.
City officials say Crough suffered a massive heart attack over the weekend, leading to his death. Crough was credited for his instrumental role in building downtown Traverse City. He worked with the downtown area for decades.
Bryan Crough was 59 years old.
A memorial service for Executive Director of Traverse City Downtown Development Authority, Bryan Crough, will take place on Saturday, June 22. It will take place at the City Opera House starting at 11am.
Crough died unexpectedly on June 16.

A downstate man was killed after losing control of his vehicle and driving off the road.
The accident happened on East 16 Road near North 35 Road in Wexford County’s Manton.
Glenn Albert Miller of Saint Clair, Michigan lost control of his vehicle and drove off the road.
The vehicle rolled and Miller was thrown from the car.
